Tyarnndaraj and Vardavar are Candidates for UNESCOs Intangible Cultural Heritage List

In an interview on "Sputnik Armenia" radio station, Deputy Minister of Culture of Armenia Arev Samuelyan stated that the Ministry of Culture of Armenia is going to request the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) to include Tyarnndaraj and Vardavar in the Intangible Cultural Heritage list in 2018. 


Today, UNESCO's tangible and intangible cultural heritage list include Armenian duduk, khachkar, lavash, Kochari and other values.
